cold spring yarnbomb '12

On March 10, 2012, I picked up knitting needles for the first time ever. 9 days later, I publicly announced my intention to yarnbomb a 40 foot tall eucalyptus tree which stands 2.6 miles up the Cold Spring Trail's East Fork in the mountains of Santa Barbara. 82 days later it was done. After 9 days, all the material was removed from the tree without leaving a trace, and then donated to Warm Up America.
