You MUST see the incredible project for yourself at @pascale_hiboocha on Instagram and so much other creative work too. Pascale, I am proud to be collaborating with you! This piece is just freakin amazing from my newest collaborator, Amanda aka @with_wild_hearts in Birmingham, UK. She writes, "This contribution is another family effort. The orange knitting was my Nan's last attempt before it got too much for her, the big grey rectangle is my sister's trial of crocheting with 2 strands (after only 2 months of crocheting), my Mom sewed on my practice hearts, stars and flowers on my sister's piece and finally, I crocheted all the rest." This yarnbomb project has introduced me to some really fantastic people, but none more so than Helma aka @helmaruijsbroek in the Netherlands. Over the past couple of months, Helma has been knitting like mad, making some of the most spectacular, massive pieces for the yarnbomb and recruiting others to join in just as hard, including her Mom (@moedermarie), Aunt and a 7 year old in Israel named Elon (@elonjansen), among others. Sadly, this huge piece, was lost in transit, but I just had to give her proper credit for the extraordinary effort she put forth. The fiber art that is contributed and even the final installations are only a tiny part of what these yarnbombs are about and the note that accompanied this terrific assortment of contributions from @isabelsboutiquee in Temecula, CA is an example of what really defines them for me. When people ask me, "Why do you yarnbomb?" I try to explain that it is much more than yarn on a rockor a tree, but until you read a note like this, Im not sure you'll truly get it. Thank you @isabelsboutiquee for entrusting me! NEW JERSEY

There is no greater gift than inspiration and few artists have inspired me like San Mateo's artist-in-residence, Lorna Watt aka @knitsforlife. First I want to thank @nallieradloff in Huntington Beach, CA for these beautiful contributions to my upcoming yarnbomb project. They are awesome, but what really got me was what you wrote on the accompanying card and I hope it's ok that I share it. "...Keep doing what you're doing! Don't let anyone or anything bring you down. You are inspiring..." It's words like that and a package of handmade artwork from a total stranger, sent at her own expense, that makes these projects special for me. Thank you! NEW YORK

This colorfully creative collaboration between Lina aka @linnation (1st to represent Dominican Republic) and Melissa aka @honeyd_sunshine (Ossining, NewYork) arrived with spectacular artwork on the box wrapping.
